1972 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 roadster finished in Jaguar Signal Red with a Black soft top over a Black leather interior.

This is truly one of the nicest unmolested time warp E-type's we have had the pleasure to offer for sale. The originality is remarkable and E-types vary rarely come along in such good original unrestored condition.

As can be seen in the pictures the car was wax oiled when new. this was usually offered by the dealer back when they where new. whilst it looks messy and does attract dust and dirt, the oily wax does a fantastic job of preserving the paint and components that is covers We have left it there as some collectors would like to preserve it as is, however should the new owner wish to have it removed and fully detailed, we would be happy to discuss this option.

The interior is absolutely remarkable and factory fresh. Even the footwell carpets are pristine. As you can see from the pictures, the floors are also in exceptional shape too. The seat and all other trim are unrestored and in excellent shape.

The car has has an exterior paint job at some point but fortunately they did not paint inside the trunk, the door jams or the underside of the bonnet.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, while auxiliary gauges for voltage, oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dash along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 23k miles.

Cars of the vintage very very rarely come along in such great shape, and therefore this particular car represents a unique opportunity to acquire a piece of Jaguar history.
